I have many, many fond memories of the original Dark Forces. My first first-person-shooter, my first action game. For over a year we only had the demo CD with the first 3 leves. I mean, I would love to go the a holodeck or something and play that first level myself. I mean, I felt I had it down to an art or something!

Anyway, I evjoyed the friendship Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors shares throughout the entire game. At one point my friends and I picked what character from the Original trilogy time-period we'd like to be and I had Jan Ors. She's so cool! No nonsense and constantly teasing Kyle.

At first when I heard that they kissed in a later game, I was kinda mad cause I loved the playtonic aspects of their friendship. But then it grew on me, than I read that the comics and books had them grown apart. Just as long as they stay close friends, I don't care what kind of romantic relationship they have.

Okay, there's my rant. Aparently I'm on a Dark Forces/Jedi Knight kick tonight (I did this one also [link] ). I feel inspired enough to sit down and draw something specific out!
